One key variable to monitor is extrusion temperature. The findings in this Tesla study closely align with our own internal studies that indicate surface resistance can be modified using extrusion temperature settings.
We found that higher extrusion temperatures result in increased conductivity (i.e., lower surface resistance). This is mainly due to the effect of having more conductive additives on the surface of the part due to higher polymer flow.
